EastEnders actress Lacey Turner, 31, has given fans a sneak peak into her baby daughter Dusty’s nursery after she gave birth in July.
Lacey, who plays Stacey Slater on the BBC One soap, shared four photos of her daughter’s pastel grey, white and pink nursery on her Instagram to thank friends for her “lovely” gifts on Instagram.
The first snap shows a pink, white and light wood-coloured cot with white edges.
Over the cot is a grey knitted blanket with Dusty’s name embellished on the front. Placed either side of the inside of the cot are two pink stuffed bunny rabbits. Meanwhile, above the cot hangs a white dreamcatcher.
The second snap shows a grey-washed memory box with a pink letter ‘D’ on the top and a white bow above the silver-coloured metal lock.
The third and fourth snap shows a pink and white wooden dummy clip and tiny white shoes for Dusty.
In the caption, Lacey thanked her friends for the “lovely gifts” and said: “Can’t wait to fill her memory box with lovely memories ! We love you guys,” followed by a flower and purple heart emoji with three kisses.
The snaps have received more than 10,000 likes and 100 comments on Instagram at the time of writing.
It comes after Lacey gave birth to her daughter in July. Announcing the happy news and introducing her beautiful baby girl to the world in an OK! magazine shoot, Lacey said: “Dusty’s our little miracle – we call her Special Kay!”
Lacey, who shares Dusty with husband Matt Kay, explained how they chose the name, saying: “It wasn’t on our original list but we did an internet search for ‘pretty girls’ names’ and we both said it at the same time!
“Her middle name is Violet, which I also love. We’ve had mixed reactions, people either think it’s really cool or they don’t really know what to say!”
Lacey also revealed she had a water birth with Dusty and explained her labour as “short” and “amazing”.
“I had the most amazing birth and I feel lucky to be able to say that. I went into labour at 2am on Friday July 12 and had her at 8.45am, so it was a short labour and it was five days before my actual due date.”
The actress added: “My contractions started coming every four minutes and within an hour they were every two minutes.
She added: “I had the loveliest midwife, too.”
